It’s hard to believe I started this blog five years ago this month after years of wondering how I could intertwine my passion for writing and my love of hockey. Well, more like wondering if I should. It’s nerve-wracking putting your thoughts out for the world to read and decipher. But alas, I took the leap and here we are today. I still have a long way to go, but I have met some awesome people along the way; people I would’ve never met had I not decided to start a blog after having a conniption fit on the couch after a playoff game against the Canucks back in 2011. So finally buying the LadyPreds.com domain name may not seem like a huge deal, but to me, it is (so there). It’s a step in the direction I want to take with this blog and hopefully the next step is to figure out a ding dang layout that it is a little more responsive and well, pretty. One step at a time, right? Well, I won’t let another five years go by before I do that.

Anyway, thank you to all of you who subscribe, casually read, or just happened upon this post. You guys are awesome and stick with this wondrous hobby of mine, even when I am not the first to get information out or I get irked by too many losses – I am first and foremost a fan, too.
